Husain

Many people can forget their fathers, but I can not ! My father was disabled, but his disability did not prevent him from acting like anybody else. He also was illiterate because he did not have time for learning. My father had fought cancer for six months, then he passed away. He was example of life's challenges, and I will not forget him.

My father's disability was in the left side of his body. When he was a child, he had an accident. At the same time he had to work to help his father which was not easy for him. He believed that he could live a normal life. For example, he learned how to drive a car. He worked at his farm most of his life. No one thought that a disabled child could do all those things.

My father did not find time to go to school. Instead, he tried to help his parents by working at an early age. That did not prevent him from making education his first priority for his children. He said " I did not have a chance for learning, but for you my children do ".

When my father got sick with cancer, we were shocked. He felt a lot of pain, but he did not show us that. We knew he was suffering from his face. He faced the hardest days of his life. Most of those days he could not sleep because of the cancer pain. Finally, after six months of pain, he passed away.

That was my father who was disabled, illiterate and died of cancer. I always see him as an example of a person who faced many challenges. This gives me the power I need to face the difficulties of life.
